How to start a blog - Part 2

Hi, welcome to my second part of "How to start a blog". Today we will discuss how to make a blog on blogspot. You should already have a blogspot and adsense account so it should go by fairly quickly.


Making your first blog.

To start making your go to blogspot's website, sign in. Press on the create a blog button. In the blog title section put the name of your blog. This is not the url and it can e changed later. Then pu n the url of your site ; make sure that it related to your blog title, this is very important. Then fill in the word varification. Now click cotinue, ou will be taken to a template page. You can choose whichever one you want ,but I have found minima to be the best. Now click continue and you done. You have just made your first blog.

How to set up your blog?

This is a very important part of your blog especially if you want to make money. It will affect how your blog looks and what people can do on your blog like the ability to click on ads, Very Important!

From your homesceeen press on the setting button. First press on Formating: change the post amount to one. Now go to comments: allow anyone to comment, press show backlinks, yes for show coments in pop window and yes for show word verification on coments.

Now for the money making part. Go to your homescreens and press on layout. From here you can add, remove, or move elements of your page. What I always do is delete the bio element, but you can leave it if you want to. Next press on add a new elemnt on the right side colun. A pop up window will show up. Press on adsense; put the color on blend this make your ads not look so ady. Now change the size to the 160 x 600 vertical banner. This is my favrite ad for this positon. You ar now ready to makke some mony, but now you need a reason for your people to go to your blog.

This is all I am going to talk about in this post. Tomorow we will talk about making your first post and how to advertise that post. So for homework think of somethings you can write about. They need to be good subjects because these are the reasons people are going to be going to your sites.

Hi, welcome to my guide on how to start a blog. I would like to thank you for coming to my guide. I am probably going to span these lessons over about three or four posts so make sure you stay tuned in. Now lets begin.

Starting a blog, is it free?
This is questioned is one of the most asked questioned to beginner bloggers. Most them think that blogging cost to much money for them and that they will never be able to unlock the riches of the blogging comunity ,but they are sadly mistaken. To make a blog all you need is a name, email adress and some ideas. These are all very simple items except for the last one which will slowly come to you after many blogs.

Where do I go to start my blog?
There are many places that support bloggers ,but one of my favorites is blogspot. They are very easy to use and offer many different options on setting up your blog. The main reason people use blogspot so much is because it is so easy to hook up to adsense. "What is adsense you say" Adsense is a google owned website that pays you for placing their ads on your sites. This is the main way to make money on blogs. The reason blogspot is so easy to get ads on is because google owns blogspot which is great for all of us bloggers.

How to start my blog?
For this section of the guide I will show you how to make a blog. One of the main parts of making a blog is deciding what to blog about. This is VERY important. I will discuss how to pick good blog topics or niches as they are known in a later post. For now I will just go through the process making a blogg about people favorite kinds of food.

Now I am going to sign off and allow you to ingest what I have told you. Think about what you want to write your article about remember this is VERY important. Your homework is to go blogspot and make an account there, this is very easy and should only take a few seconds. Also go to google adsense, make an account there too. If you already have an account with google that will work just fine. I will write the second part of my guide on how to start blogging tomorow.
